hi mrs aceto :] this is mandycheung from periodB. i was wondering if the answer to the question "who won 2005's major league baseball world series most valuable player award" is Alex Rodriguez(american league) and Albert Pujols(national League).

Mandy that is incorrect. What you found are the 2 players named MVP for each league. I am looking for the ONE MVP from the World Series. The "finals" for Major League Baseball (MLB) revolve around the two leagues, American and National. There is one "winner" from the American League and one "winner" from the National League. The World Series is where these two teams play eachother in a best of 7 game series. Good try though... don't give up!

It's Aileen Teruya from Period B.

So, now that this opportunity is OFFICIALLY OVER, I can reveal the answer:

The 2005 World Series MVP was JERMAINE DYE. He is also the first Chicago White Sox player to ever win this award. The Chicago White Sox had not won a World Series since 1917.

Sorry Aileen, that answer is incorrect and I was only giving the extra credit to the first 5. Please check back another time for another chance!

Great job to all of you that tried!
