You will only be able to post a comment on this posting, not the old ones. This makes it easier for me to respond and will hopefully keep me from having to answer the same question more than once. Just keeps the blog moving more smoothly.

Hi Mrs. Aceto! This is Grace(: [I think you know which Grace]! I was wondering if you still had extra credit running. If you still do, can I join and run for extra credit for Mr. Flick's class? I'll check the blog so I can know whether or not I can.

I will be doing an extra credit/make up run day next week. I don't know if Mr. Flick uses or takes extra credit but you are more than welcome to come and run if he says he will accept it. Miss having you in class... :)

i am sorry... there isn't any extra credit available this week. There probably won't be any more extra credit this quarter except for the makeup/extra credit run day that I will be telling the class about this week. It will be next week. Most likely Wednesday Oct. 25th.
One grade cannot make a huge difference in your total grade unless it is a large assignment like the project. It is an average of all grades when it comes to running.
By the way... I am sorry that there wasn't any extra credit this week and so many of you have come on to find it. I hope that you all will continue to check back and to use this blog to ask questions, see what others have asked that you may not have thought of or see how silly some of your fellow classmates are. :)
Jason, I am actually working on the grades right now. I am a bit behind and there are so many projects to grade still. I will be working as fast as I can.
I will be updating the grades online tonight. Not all the grades are in the gradebook just yet so just know that they are not complete...In fact the biggest grade (project) will not be in and not all the mile grades either. Sorry... be patient.
OK... Grades are online and all that is missing is your Wiffle Ball grade and your project grades.
You will notice that it will look a little different. We have an updated version for our gradebooks so you will now have to select what class you are in (it won't say "all classes" anymore). Everything else is the same... Enjoy!

Chicken.. I send Teleparents for tardies, loans and I will send home grades every other week. If you do well on something like a 440 or on running I will send home a "happy" teleparent. If you get an F on a 440 or on running you will receive a "sad" teleparent.
Every other week, I send home improvement teleparents for those students who improve their 440 times. :)

Mandy, I think I already answered your question but I will do it "officially" here. You will be running on Wednesday and if you choose to run for extra credit you will indeed be running 2 times for 30 minutes on that day. :) Sorry....

Yes, you are right. The quarter grades are more like a progress report. However, these grades do count for eligibility for dances, sports etc.
Not that you have anything to worry about I am sure. :)
