Diego, I know you were having a problem with the Get Active site. What you need to do is go to your "profile" and re-click "no" to "do you use a pedometer." If it is already checked no, check yes, then switch it immediately back to no and then click on "submit" off to the right.
As for the amount of minutes per day... apparently you can only log in 2 hours worth of activity a day. Just don't put in any minutes over that time.
what happens if i found a glitch with the website for staying active and i accidently deleted walking off my list and now all of my days are less 60 mins because of that?
Anonymous, The 75 mile list on the website is in order of miles run, not alphabetical. The person with the most miles run is first and then it decends from there.
Grades are now updated on the website... every single student received a print out of their grade so I didn't feel it necessary to update the grades this past week.
What if the submit button won't pop up on the bottom of the activity list after you put your minutes in; because then it won't let you submit anything.
Try logging out and logging back in again. If there is still a problem, email them. The email address is listed in one of the previous comments. good luck.
salilorzoey, I would love to help. But I don't know who you are. If you can email me with your name I will have a better idea how to answer your question. But... if you are trying as hard as you can, that is to say that you don't walk and talk as you go around the track then you might want to begin pacing yourself. Forcing your body to do more than it wants to is the only way to really improve cardiovascularly (which is what running is). For instance if you cannot run the entire 30 minutes without stopping then try running half and walking a quarter and then running half a lap and then walking a quarter lap, etc... If that is too easy then increase the distance you run. The point is to increase how far you run each run day, pushing your body. It might be achy for a while but it will be worth it. Good luck!

I am a physical education teacher & this site was created to be a place where my students can ask questions, get information, and access extra credit. I am currently on extended family leave and am a stay at home mom of Nathan and Jake.

Hope this helps.

As for Anonymous complaining about the site being too slow. This isn't a problem with the site but most likely your internet connection.
Remember that this is an "extra credit" opportunity. If you don't like the site, don't use it.
Make sure that you all are only creating one account. I have noticed that some students have more than one account.
I believe it will. But even if it doesn't I will be keeping track.

But thanks, I am fine.
fango,
All you need to do is contact the website (pec@pecentral.org) and tell them the problem. They will be best able to help you fix it.
Good Luck!
Hi Mrs.Aceto,
Will we have a test on the volleyball unit? And is it really possible to win more than one P.A.L.A. award?
